Engine Mechanical problem

i bought a Mazda 626 used. The car was sitting for a year before I bought it. It started up. I did some Maintenance work on it. She started to blow white smoke out the tail pipe for 2 days then it was normal. I put a fuel additive in the gas to clean it out more. The car started up for the first day. Now, the care wont turn over. Do you think it is the cleaning additive I put in the gas? or something more?
