1994 Lincoln Mark VIII oil sending unit

Engine problem
1994 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100,00 miles

I had my oil changed yesterday and they noticed the sending unit was leaking. They said it's by the oil filter. The part is around $4 and the socket to remove it is $8. Is it easy to replace and something I can do?

You have the light then and not the gauge? Yes it just screws in...
