Engine Performance problem
1994 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Engine hesitation/stalls/ no power upon pushing gas pedal (acceleration). registers less gas than is in it. no apparent gas leak. has sat for a while however we were having this issue before and put lots of $ in and problem never resolved. had two tune-ups which included sparkplugs, wires, distributor cab. Also replaced fuel pump.

I realize that a lot has been done, but has anyone scanned for codes? I would start with that. Most nationally recognized auto parts stores will scann for free.

Let me know if they find anything. Also, have you had the intake checked for leaks?
