I have reset my fuel cutoff in the trunk, but I still get the indication on the dash when I try to start it. Any sugestions.

Fuel cut off switch in the trunk is to cut off fuel in case of an accident
it should stop the power from reaching the fuel pump
and car will not start there should be no indicator light on dash for it
recheck the light because its not for the cutoff switch
