1994 Ford Aerostar Won't shift into overdrive

Transmission problem
1994 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Automatic

1994 Ford Aerostar 3.0 liter V-6 Won't shift into overdrive. I haven't tried anything yet to fix it, will check fluid and filters...any ideas? Please help!!

Hi Sarradd,

Was the CEL showing?

Most probably the 3-4 shift solenoid is faulty.

We tried to find the 3-4 solenoid, we weren't sure if it was on outside or not, he got completely frustrated and took it to shop. They fixed it, not sure what they found. I will put it here when I find out in case it helps anybody. Thank you for your help.
