Air Conditioning problem

WHEN I CUT MY AC ON THE COMPRESSOR DOES NOT CUT ON BUT IF YOU JUMP IT UNDER THE HOOD AT THE FUSE BOX IT COMES ON WHY IS THAT?

Hi:

You must have a bad switch or relay. Check for power to the switch In and Out. If you have it, check the AC relay.
