Air Conditioning problem

The air conditioner works fine when outdoor temps are under 80 degrees (approx.) Once outdoor temps go over 80 degrees the air shuts down.

Need to know the line pressures when the ambient temp is above 80. Might have too much in the system and the pressures go too high when it is that hot out. Does the fan work whent he a/c is on (engine cooling fans)?

The fan runs fine at all temps, even when a/c stops cooling. I will have the line pressure checked and get back to you with results.
