Engine Performance problem

This weekend I changed the spark plugs and the spark plug wires in my 94 Corisca. Once they were replaced there is now a clicking in the front end. The sound goes very dim when I am stopped at a light but when I press on the gas the clicking gets louder until I maintain speed then it goes away again. Could one of the wires be on wrong? Could this be faulty spark plugs or spark plug wires? or is this another problem?
