I had the same problem with my 97 blazer. The first time it was the fuel filter. The second time it was the fuel pump. The third time it was the catalytic converter. It rusted through and was clogged. I would change the fuel filter first because a do it yourselfer can change this and it is cheap. I would also see what kinda shape your converter is in. When my converter was clogged, I had to "floor" the truck just to get it going. You can also check the fuel pressure too.
