i am very in need of help as well my car has the flashing security light on the dash board and when i try to start my car it says starting disabled remove key, wait 3 mins and start. When i try to start the car it won't start tried 2 other keys that i have but it still gives me the same message. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.

help is on the way. what you have is a bad ignition cylinder thats not reading the resistance on the key. to over ride this you can either have the ignition cylinder replaced or have the security system bypassed by installing a resister across the 2 tiny white wires in the orange casing under the steering column. you will need to know a little about a ohm meter to get this done. a repair shop will usually do this for about a hour labor and the cost of the resister. $10. . also for the time being try moving the steering column to the low position, wait the 4 minutes and retry. keep us posted.
