Engine Performance problem

I have a 1994 Integra GS-R and i put too much oil in my car and didnt know until a few days after when the car showed a loss of power. i emptied the sump and added the correct amount of oil but car is still slower than it used to be. What do i need to do to retrieve power?!

how much oil is the too much oil? your engine only takes 4.2 quarts,did you put 5 or 8 quarts? you could have blown an oil seal.
make sure that you really have the correct amount of oil first.check the dipstick,chances are,you're still over.
