Engine Performance problem
1993 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 180000 miles

Hello, This is the problem i have with my Tercel. After the engine has warmed up the car will die out continiously. My friend is a mechanic and he said I needed a new air flow meter, however after looking it up on autozone and autopartsamerica i find my vehicle does not require one. Other than thsi problem, the vehicle is fine. It dies out any time i don't have my foot on the acdelerator pedal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May have suggested the Mass Air Flow or MAF
