1993 Nissan Truck brake lights on...abs llight on

Electrical problem
1993 Nissan Truck 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 109,00 miles

After turning off my engine and parking, I noticed that my brake/tail lights were still on...couldn't get them off....driving home I noticed that the abs light was on, too....
I had to disconnect the ground wire to the battery to get light off...fuses seemed okay....
What is wrong and what should I do to fix??

Hi Terry,

Check the brake pedal switch and contact. There should be a rubber stopper, if it is worn or missing, replacing 1 would solve the problem.

If the switch pin is closing and the lights are not going off, the switch is faulty.
