Electrical problem
1993 GMC C1500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 272000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My 1500 shut down while driving and wouldn't start again.
I changed the electronic control module, the coil pack, and the ignition control module. The ignition fuse under the dash is good. I don't know what else to check. I pulled a code and it said ECM fault, but I changed the ECM and its still wont start. There is no fire between the coil pack and the distributer cap. please help.

Check for battery voltage at the pink wire on the coil-No power there and ignition fuse tested good-its coming from the ignition switch.

Could be a bad ignitiion control module again or the computer is not picking up an ignition reference signal to tell the ICM to fire the coil-

Try this disconnect the coil wire from the distributor and ground it to the engine and crank it over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so check the rotor and distributor cap-it has to make it out of there to get to the plugs. Still no spark recheck above and test the wiring from the distributor to the computer-
