sound slike you possibly blew a fuse or burned some bulbs, check in your fuseblock for all uses, ground a test light and use the tip to check each side of each fuse while plugged into the fuse block, there is a metal tab at each side at the top that you can touch it on.
when you find one that has power on one side, none on the other with the key on of course, then you have found the bad fuse.
after you look at the fuses, you will have to remove the instrument cluster and check the bulbs on the back of it if they are burned they will be black in color not clear.
