1993 Ford Probe engine not firing

Electrical problem
1993 Ford Probe 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my daughter was driving car stalled.it hasnt started since.it is not firing.I went to a salvage yard and looked at distributors.All 93s had one plug at the distributor.This car has two plugs going to the distributor.evidently the engine has been changed along the way.how also can i find out what year model the engine is

Hi there,

If you quote the engine No to your dealer they will be able to tell you the series of your engine. They will also be able to advise on where the engine no is, make sure you take it off the engine and not any paper work you have as that may be wrong.
