Engine Performance problem

Hello

My son's Intrepid has a bad miss. I checked for fire at each plug wire with a timing light. All had fire except the #3 wire. There is no fire coming from that tower of the coil. I'm thinking the coil is bad but there is a possibility that the PCM is not supplying input to that tower. 3 and 6 work from the same coil... I think that 6 is intermittent but know for sure there is no fire at the #3 tower of the coil. Your opinion? Coil or PCM??
