Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Chrysler Imperial 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 174100 miles
checked codes come out 32255. Car runs fine. Holds good oil pressure, good tempertaure, good amperage, idles fine, accelerates fines, and gets 26 miles per gallon average. Engine light comes on after app. 5 miles at 55 miles per hour. Code says egr is bad could this be wrong? What happens if it is not replaced? |

To answer your question, NOTHING. The only draw backs are;
1- If you have to pass an emissions test, you may not.
2- You have to put up with the light being on.
Bottom line. If I had a '93 Chrysler Imperial with 174K on it and got 24 MPG, I wouldn't touch it. I would stroke it, and talk to it really , really nice every morning. Hope this helps. |
