Engine Mechanical problem

Here is the situation, my truck runs fine and starts fine except when I park my truck in a certian way in my driveway. My driveway is steep and this only happens after I get home, park the truck for 5-10 minutes, and then go to start it again. The motor cranks fine but will not fire. I try a combination of long cranks, or just touching the starter, depress gas, do not depress gas, then for no reason it just starts normally. What could be the cause of this? This happens in cold weather and warm summer weather as well.
