there is a squeeling noize coming from the distributor and it made the truck lack power. is the distributor the reason the truck has no power?

Hi there,

the only thing in the distributor that i feel can do that is a worn drive or bushes. if the distributor was really bad you may get some performance issue but i feel that you have two problems. Get the distributer checked out and have a full tune done as well.
