Electrical problem
1993 Cadillac STS V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I own a 93 cadillac STS and it will not start. Can anyone please help me. It is stating that the "Starting is disabled due to theft system"....What can I do... I heard that there is a resistor or something I need from radio shack???? I have replaced the ignition and the key...Im so lost ...The factory radio has been removed could this cause my issue, If so how do I fix it. Is ther any diagrams or info to help me.. please help and thank you
