Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Buick Skylark 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 189K+ miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe someone can help.I had the oil filler cap off of the 3.3 liter V-6 a couple of days ago and noticed what looked like bubbles in the oil coming from somewhere around the valve/valve spring area of the last cylinder on the front right side of the engine.
The bubbles were almost in a stream form and seemed to be coming from the valve somewhere.
The bubbles seemed to stop when the motor was revved up but returned at idle.I can only see the one valve that had the bubbles.
Sounds liek you are seeing the oil coming up through the pushrod to lube/cool the valve springs and rocker arms. Wouldnt worry too much about the bubbles, as long as it is solid when brought up off idle
