Engine Performance problem
1993 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 184000 miles

Hello,

I would like to know how to connect the vacuum hoses on my car correctly. I have not had a problem in approximately 5 years, but all of a sudden my lesabre wont stay running. I can trn it on and it will run for about 2-3 minutes then stall out as if out of gas. I can turn it on again but the runnning time gets shorter and shorter, I suspect the vacuum hoses because they were dry rotted. but not sure how they connect back, I have searched online for diagrams to no avail. if it is not the vacuum hoses, what else could I check for? I also noticed a black "dusty" looking smoke coming from the air filter assembly, once I removed it I noticed the smoke was coming from the throttle body assy. what could that mean? I appreciate any assistance/tips.
