1993 BMW 318 Gas Petal Gets Stuck Intermitently

1993 BMW 318 4 cyl Automatic 180,00 miles

1993 BMW 318IS - 180,000 Miles - Gas petal gets stuck intermitently. Cleaned Throttle Body, Replaced Throttle Switch and Throttle Cable and Clip. Still have the problem of Gas Petal getting stuck intermitently - When the Gas petal gets stuck (not going down smoothly) I have to put more pressure on the gas petal to get it to move down smoothly. Something is impeding the gas petal from normal smooth operation.

Replace the pedal assembly.
