Engine Performance problem
1992 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 192000 miles

1992 Toyota Corolla, 192000 miles, ran fine while on freeway, started to loose power and engine stutters. Engine temp was ok according to gauge, checked oil and transmission fluid and all was within limits.

Turns over but dies if I no gas is given to i after awhile. After initial sluggish (does not rev high or loud) car seems to pick up fine up to apx 40-60mph but still feels sluggish. Fuel pump/filter possibly??

Possibly a bad fuel filter but purchase a vacuum guage to test for a vacuum leak, ignition timing issue or plugged exhaust system. Please give me specific details as to what the guage does.
