Engine Performance problem
1992 Other Plymouth Models 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 105000 miles

I have a 1992 Plymouth Laser, Turbo AWD, standard. When in 1st or 2nd gear, when I take my foot off the gas completely, it begins to lurch. As soon as I give it any gas, it smooths out. I've put a fuel injector cleaner in my tank, and plan on changing the spark plugs for good measure, but I have a feeling that isn't going to help this. Any input would be appreciated.
