Engine Performance problem
1992 Nissan Truck 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 202,00 miles

Have had this truck since it was new. Religiously changed oil every 3000 miles. Never had engine apart. Last few days engine has been hitching and fetching, off and on. Yesterday did it pretty well all the time. Put the drygas to it to no avail. Cap and rotor look good. Never stalls, but sometimes feels like it wants to. I've heard timing chain may be the culprit. Any other ideas before is take to my mechanic? thanks
