Engine Performance problem

I have a problem with my car staying on.When I start the car, it will turn over after a few trys at first and the car warms up. Then after 20 to 30 minutes the car goes dead. I try to start the engine, it cranks but it will not turn over. If I let it sit for 30 or 40 minutes it will start again. I was talking to a friend who is a mechanic and he suggests that the issue is my ignition coil. He says that once I change it it will solve the problem.

Where is the ingition coil located on the 3.8L small block in a '92 Thunderbird. I am reeeeally needing soe direction. Please help!!! Thanks.
