Interior problem

I have a 92 f 250 super cab. Neither seat back release levers work now. One was broken yrs ago and was fixed in the shop. Can I possibly do this myself? I've been told it could be a cable, springs, or the lever itself. Most likely the cable. I need to find a manual that will tell me how to remove the upholstery and get in there to see what is wrong with it. The only thing the manual we have now does is tell you how to remove the seats. Help! to get in the back you have to climb over the seat.
