1992 Dodge Dakota truck accleration and has died

1992 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 134000 miles

hello i'm curious about what could be wrong with my truck. well i start it it usually starts fine, but when i go to accelerate it seems to almost drown. the rpms don't go up, unless i floor it than they will go up pretty high about 4000 or so and the truck will accelerate very slowly. i'm not sure whats wrong but, i need to figure it out quickly. thanks for any help, and if you need more info let me know

firstly check your transmission dipstick make sure its at the right level with no metal chips in the fluid. secondly check/replace the throttle position sensor then get back to me . also let me know if u have a check engine light on

Inspect and test the throttle position and the manifold absolute pressure sensors. Also might want to do a fuel pressure check-

i've never had to do that, how do i inspect them and test them? thanks

do you know how to test for resistence with an ohm meter?

Bring the vehicle in to the Pros-you gonna end up doing more damages then it is now for me this is not a DIY problem it can get complicated and a bear to find.
