Electrical problem
1992 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 30000 miles

I have the 2.5 TBI "Iron Duke". Owned it for 13 yrs. and have done most repairs my self with little problem. (3rd engine) However , several years ago (after 1st engine swap) I had an ignition module go out. Every since Ive had to replace it at least twice a year. Ive replaced magnetic pick- up and module together, replaced entire destributor twice. Lately, when I turn on my head light switch it will sometimes kill the engine. Are these problems related? Could it be that wiring wasnt put back right from when I had the 1st engine put in? I ve always done my PM religiuosly so Im sure its not due to lack of care. This is a real pain .
