Electrical problem
1992 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic N/A miles
Brand new starter. will not turn ovar, i dissconected the battry and everytime i attempt to put the negative back on the battry it sparks and the starter tries to turn over. the battry is good. whats wrong with this starter? possibly the wire to the fuse box? |

or you didn't wire something correctly. |

everytime the starter clunks, as if it is trying to turn over. The starter is Brand new the wireing i didnt do. could the positave and negative be touching? |

i'm thinking more likely the positive battery cable is touching the small post that energizes the solenoid. |

is the starter trying to turn over the engine when you connect the battery cables? |
