Engine Performance problem
1992 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 140400 miles

I put a chip in my car almost a week ago an it was suppose to help get better mpg an more horsepower, but after a day of having it in it wasn't doing anything but messing up my car from what i noticed, so i took it out later that day. When im driving it doesnt matter how fast im going but when I push down the gas to accelerate the car doesnt do anything but hesiatate an wont let me accelerate. The car just kinda shakes from front to back so I have to let go of the gas completely an try it again an sometimes is will let me accelerate slowly. Could this be my fuel filter or my IAT sensor from where I had the chip installed? Help me out guys. Thanks

evadently the chip isnt working, take it out, and try it with out it

The chip has been out, I took it out the same day i installed it so there hasnt been a chip in it the whole time its been having this problem

ok, pull your codes, off and warmer on the heater controls at the same time, with the key in the on position, look at the miliage center for the codes

starts out with 8.8.8 and ends with 0.7.0
