1992 Acura Vigor Surging idle.

Engine Performance problem
1992 Acura Vigor Front Wheel Drive Automatic 240000 miles

After starting the engine, the idle continues to climb (2500 rpm plus) until I touch the gas pedal. Then the idle drops down to 1000 rpm and begins surging up and down to 1500 rpm.

sounds to me like you should take off your IAC module and verify that the pintle is moving freely, also unplug it when its reving, does that solve the problem?
