Hi mater007,
Thank you for the donation.
Did you check if the rotor is turning when cranking the engine? A bad timing belt would not turn the distributor and this would cause a no spark condition.
As you have replaced the distributor, the next thing to check would be the ignition switch and computer.
Test for power supply to the distributor while cranking the engine. A bad ignition switch might provide power to the coil in the ON poaisiton but no power supply when in the START position. |

The distributor is not pulsing to fire the ignition coil.
Possible cause would be the ignitor and/or PCM causing the problem.
Did you do the ignitor test yourself?
Is the Check engine light showing?
Did you try to retrieve for trouble codes? |

You would have to check why the CEL is not indicating when ignition switch is turned ON.

The ECU or its witing is faulty and not grounding the circuit.
Recheck the ECU wire connectors and termnals for contaminations. If none found, you would have to get an ECU to test. |
