Hello, and thank you in advance for your reply.
I was measuring the fuel pressure on my Saratoga and noticed that it was too high for the specification for this car (55 psi without vacuum) on the pressure side of the fuel rail. So i tested if fuel return side was clogged, but it wasn't so i bought a new fuel pressure regulator, thinking this was the problem. It didn't fix it at all. So i went on and tested the pressure on the other side of the fuel rail, before the regulator ofcourse, and it was correct on that point (48 psi without vacuum).
So my question is that how can it be possible that the fuel pressure is higher on the pressure side of the fuel rail than on the exit side?
I suspected that maybe fuel rail is clogged, so i took it out for cleaning and inspection, but i didnt find any clog, when i put compressed air through it.
Fuel pump flow was also tested, and was inside the specification (1,6 pints in 30 seconds).
I've been looking for answer to this on forums but haven't found anything yet.. So thanks in advance for any help.
Edit:
I was testing it again and seems that the problem only exists when the car is running. If i just run the pump engine stopped, the pressure seems the same on both sides of the rail.
