Steering problem
1991 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I need to replace the front passenger side wheel bearing and am having a diffucult time removing the outer nut. Is this a left handed thread? I haven'nt yet heated it up to remove it. The bearing has been making noise for sometime so I'm assuming that the nut might have been brought to high temps already hence the inability to remove it. Any thoughts?
Greatly appreciated!!
Paul

Thank you very much for your reply. I have an impact
wrench but my psi is apparently not high enough to bust it loose. I know from working at an engine rebuilding shop that when we had to remove oil galley plugs and other bolts that heating them up and using wax was a big help.
Again Thank you. I need to check out your site a bit more to see how donations work.
