my engine has been overheating the last couple of times i have driven the car. the coolant tank is holding coolant and i just put in some oil yesterday.
first thing to do is change the thermostat cheap and easy to do and check the hoses make sure their not collapsed.
after those are done start engine let it get hot, squeeze upper hose then release
do you feel pressure build then coolant rush by when you release your hand if not the water pump may not be functioning properly.
