Engine Cooling problem
1991 Dodge Spirit 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Had steam and slight condensation coming from the exhaust - wouldn't pass Oregon DEQ because of the "smoke". Bought some K&W Nanotech sealant and followed the instructions diligently. Not only is the steam continuing but now the condensation has gotten worse - constant water drips from the exhuast pipe. Could the sealant have made the issue worse or does it take time for it to work? |

Where are you getting condensation (what part of the exhaust)? Is it coolant? |

The smoke is coming from the tail pipe - along with drop of water - an almost constant flow of both smoke & water vapor - no anti freeze.
Used nano-tech sealant as directed - no help - in fact seemed to make it worse. |

Nope - pretty clear - it looks, feels (hot), and smells like steam. Car remains off-line. |

The only thing, other than condensation, that is a liquid is coolant. Have you noticed that the coolant level is dropping? The only thing I can think of is a head gasket. You may want to check engine compression. |
