Electrical problem
1991 Chevy Caprice V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 91 Chev Caprice Classic that has a shot bearing in the alternator. Is it cheaper to replace the alternator of just the bearing. If you replace the bearing how hard is it to do?
Some of those bearings arent available to be bought seperatly. If the alt is original from 91, i would just replace the entire alt, be less work in th elong run than taking the old one apart to replace a bearing if you can even find one.
