I got a 325i with only had one key. The mechnic has lost it! HELP. I'd appreciate any suggestions on what we should do! As it's a nice car that can't start...

As someone who has been there, done that, got the T-shirt, I would say that the only way is to go to a BMW dealer with your registration and order a new one from the central letter shop, they will cut keys from the vehicle identification number. The mechanic that lost the key is on the hook for this one.
