Engine Performance problem
1990 Volkswagen Golf 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 49000 miles

i have a vw golf driver automatic 1.6 1990 and here is my problem
when i start it in the morning it takes up to ten times to start
proper then when its warmed up it runs proper i think the automatic choke is stuck any help would be appreciated
