Could be an open or short in the wiring to the ignition switch or the charge indicator. |

Could also be a faulty battery cable or cable connecter. I had the same problem on my 92 YJ and assumed first it was the battery and then the alternator, but it turned out I needed to replace the positive cable and negative connector. Check it out. |
