1990 Dodge Ram heater core

Heater problem
1990 Dodge Ram 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 17900 miles

i need to know how to get the heat core out of the boxs its in i took all the little bolts off and the boxs still wouldit come off. i could letf the lid and see the heater core but it seemed to still be something i was missing. hope u can help me and thank u plz email at jefffro2006@yahoo.com

the heater core just sits in the box held in by rubber supports. you have to get the cover off to access the core. should be a couple of clips holding the box cover on. The hoses will have to be disconnected from under the hood.
