my beretta will not crank every once in a while.it appears power is not getting to the starter.i put on a new solenoid and it cranked and started 30 times before it failed again. the switch seems to be ok, i think. could there be a relay that sends voltage to the solenoid and if so can you tell me where it is?

Hi:
I checked several sources and can't find anything on a starter relay for our car. Have you gone over all of the connections to make sure they are clean and tight (especially the ground to the motor)? When the car doesn't start, have you checked to see if there is power to the starter?

Let me know what you find.

Joe
PS: What size engine does it have? You listed a V8 but they never put those in the Beretta.
