can someone tell me what kind of battery is supposed to be in my car ? i bought it used and the battery that came with it is too tall to close the hood securely and it doesn't look long enough . and does it matter? thank you

Your battery is suppose to be a 65 amp hr. rating- its too tall and short in the tray. Match it as close as possible.

Or you can use the same battery make sure you isolate the positive battery post from the hood. Bcuz if not you'll see sparks all over.
