Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
i have a 89 chevy 4x4 350 starts good when cold but about 5 min wont start only when you hold the gas down all the it wants to start but wont. pls help |

I am assuming this is a carb operated engine. With the alcohol in todays gas, your float may be dropping or you are losing pressure and gas is going back out of the float bowl. I'd check the float for working andnot sinking in the carb. Probably time for a rebuild |

it is throttle body injected, also ive replaced fuel pump, and also checked fuel pressure reglator. |
