Engine Performance problem
1989 Mazda 626 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 131000 miles

89 mazda 626 auto stalls out when i come to a stop and the rpm's drop below 1200 rpm's ,only when it has been driven for ten minutes or so. when i restart it, it will start but when the rpm's drop below 1200 rpm's it just dies. its almost like the key is being turned off, and in order to get moving you have to keep the rpm's at 1500 just so it wont stall out, any idea what this could be?

Check your idle switch and throttle position sensor, also the EGR control valve if it has one.
