Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Automatic 149000 miles

will crank over but will not start, has no fire removed plug wire & gounded with no spark. last time it happened came home from work & it started right up. recently installed new fuel pump & filter

every time the vehicle fails to start is it because of no spark? check all the cylinders for spark. if there is no spark check the Ignition control module, the coil
