Shakes or Wobbles problem

It started with the oil light coming on whenever I would apply the breaks pretty hard. Then I started to hear a loud ticking noise. I added a quart of oil. Kept occurring for the next week. Then I stalled out when I was attempting to leave a store parking lot. On the highway, I was doing about 75mph when the car just gave out. I was unable to accelerate. As I pulled over, I noticed smoke coming out from the hood. The oil was burning and smoking. I had the car towed home and it wouldn't even turn over at that point. I added 2 quarts of oil and now the engine starts, but it is EXTREMELY LOUD, and it's shaking like crazy. What could be wrong with the car?? Any possible ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
